New Committee Elected & We’re on Bluesky!

We are delighted to announce that EPCN has elected its new Committee for the upcoming term. At the same time, we’re excited to invite you to follow us on our new social media channel on Bluesky (@epcn.bsky.social).

New Committee Elected
At our recent General Assembly, the membership voted in the new leadership of the network. We warmly welcome Zsófia Horváth as our new president and Marlene Pätzig as our vice-president.

To support effective coordination and transparency, each EPCN Committee member now has a clearly defined role with specific responsibilities. This structure will help us work more efficiently, maintain stronger communication with members, and ensure consistent progress toward EPCN’s goals.

Why this matters
After a period in which the network was less active due to unfortunate loss of member contact info, we are now in a rebuilding phase. The new committee is tasked with reconnecting with previous members, welcoming new ones, revitalising working groups and delivering new activities in research, practice and policy for ponds.
