PhD Opportunities

Here are a couple of PhDs looking at different aspects of flood plains, with the Open University in the UK:

1. Managing flood risk through working with nature. For anyone interested in this highly topical subject, this PhD offers an opportunity to work with key organisations involved in the modelling and delivery of natural flood management.

2. The breeding system and pollination biology of the snakeshead fritillary. Building on our work on snakeshead fritillary, this is an opportunity to explore further the biology of this rare and special plant.
